The mission of the Jamie A. MacInnis Memorial Library at the Art Institute of California-San Francisco is to provide and promote effective use of resources and services which support the learning, teaching, and other information needs of students, faculty, and staff. Our vision is to serve the learning community by providing free and open access to ample resources of various types, offering instruction in utilizing those resources, and promoting intellectual curiosity and growth through learning and research. Our goal is to work in cooperation with faculty to help students develop the ability to find, evaluate, and use information, and to become independent life-long learners. We are also committed to working in partnership with faculty, staff, and students to assure the quality and relevance of the library's resources and provide the greatest access, availability and delivery according to their needs.
